Backup Exec DR file is Missing in Restore

Symantec Backup Exec: DR file is missing when performing a Bare Metal Restore. The reason is required files for the backup is not selected on the backup job. You can see “Simplified Disaster Recovery” is set to OFF.

In my scenario I had to select “O” drive to turn ON Simplified Disaster Recovery. This must be set to ON to create the DR file on Backup Exec.
