Using Stand-alone server we can run, manage and monitor jobs running locally.

Primary Server

ARCserve Primary server functions as a master server that controls itself and one or more ARCserve member servers. We can manage, monitor backup, restore jobs that run on primary and member servers. You can have a single point of management for multiple ARCserve servers. You can then use the ARCserve Manager Console to manage the Primary Server.

An ARCserve Member server functions as a worker server to an Primary Server. A member server processes the jobs dispatched by the ARCserve Primary server. Using Primary and Member servers you can have a single point of management for multiple ARCserve servers in your environment.
