NetVault Backup Index conflict An index needed for this job is in use by another active job

When attempting to submit or run a backup job, the below error message is logged by NetVault Backup.

"Index conflict: An index needed for this job is in use by another active job".

The reason for this error is two or more jobs created with the same Backup Selection Set have been submitted or scheduled to run at the same time or at least overlap to run. Go to Jobs –> Manage Job Definitions and check the assigned backup sets.

Go to Jobs -> Manage Sets and click on the Backup Selection set, click edit and click Save.

Change the name of the Backup Selection set and click Save.

Go to Jobs -> Manage Job Definitions and select the job and click Edit Job.

On the Selections field select new Backup selection set and click save.
