Install the JDK first
Download and install the latest Android SDK for Windows from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Tick at the top of the list (updated version) and this will select all the available packages. Click Install. Select Accept All and continue the installation.
Open Android Virtual Device Manager and click New…
Type a Name, and select the Target from the drop down. Give capacity for SD Card field and click on Create AVD.
Check the status of AVD and click Start.
Tick on “Wipe user data“, click “Launch”
Android Phone emulator will begin to boot.
Now we have to configure the device to access internet. Click on the circle as shown in below image.
Click on Settings.
Click More…
Confirm that the “Airplane mode” is not enabled.
If you have proxy, configure the network settings.
Now you have the access to the internet.
Let’s configure the Email account.
Enter Email Address and Password. Click on “Manual Setup” to configure mailbox manually. If you have Autodiscover A record on public DNS this is not required.
Select connection type.
Enter a name for this Mailbox, this is optional.
Now you are ready to go.
