(Pasted from www.symantec.com) Let's start the Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Installation. As shown in below error message .NET Framework 3.5 is required for continue the installation.
I am installing Symantec Backup Exec 2012 on Windows Server 2012 server. Go to Server Manager -> Dashboard -> Add roles and features -> choose "NET Framework 3.5 Features" from Select Features window.
Now we can start the installation. Terms and Condition window. Computer Environment check.... Activating License. Configuring Logon Account... You can add computers from this window (Symantec Agent) Backup Exec Install Summary Installing Backup Exec 2012. Installation is finished. Open Backup Exec 2012 from Start menu. Initializing interface. Configuring Storage... Choose Storage type:

nice tutorial! But these steps I found out by myself.
Did you have done a successful backup of an W2K12 Server?
I don't ... and also performance of backup creating is poor.
Would like to hear about your experiences!

Windows Server 2012 is not supported in the current shipping versions of Backup Exec.
Solution
An update to Backup Exec 2012 is under development and will provide support for systems running Windows Server 2012 using the Backup Exec Agent for Windows. Full Backup Exec server support for Windows Server 2012 will be available in an upcoming Backup Exec release.
